Why there are so many types of pre-charged aerosol?2019-10-07T18:05:11+02:00

Simply because there are many types of paints. The various pre-charged aerosols are designed to get optimum finish results.

What will happen if we overfilled? Will it explode?2019-10-07T18:05:29+02:00

The fact that each aerosol is delivered with one unique filling cap prevents this possibility. However, if one was to purposely use two filling caps to overfill the aerosol, the aerosol can would not explode but there may be leakage from the valve and the aerosol would deform (aerosol safety concept).

What type of thinner/solvent blend used in the pre-charged aerosol?2019-10-07T18:14:26+02:00

Depend on the requirement and the type of paint used. There are choices of universal solvent blend for general purpose usage and custom blend formulation optimum spray result and finishing.

What propellants are used?2019-10-07T18:14:36+02:00

Dimethyl ether, n-butane, propane, nitrogen, nitrous oxide and carbon dioxide or mixture of the mentioned gasses.

What paint may cause blockage?2019-10-07T18:05:45+02:00

Normally special effect colours where the pigment particles may be too large for the aerosol spray valve system. Especially pearl and mica pigments.

What kind of compressor should be used to operate the machine?2019-10-07T18:06:00+02:00

Minimum 1 hp. Any compressor whether big or small that can generate 1 hp or more (horse power actually relates to air volume rather than working pressure). Actual requirement is working pressure of: minimum 7 bar/100psi. Maximum 9 bar/130psi.

What is the air consumption?2019-10-07T18:06:18+02:00

0.5 liter per stroke.

What is a pre-charged aerosol?2019-10-07T18:14:56+02:00

A pre-charged aerosol is an aerosol spray can pre-fill with propellant and solvent blend. The final aerosol product is achieved by filling the pre-charged can with paint products or other liquid products.

What else could cause blockages?2019-10-07T18:06:41+02:00

Besides pearl/mica or special effect pigment. Impurities such as dried paint, dust or sand. Or sometimes paint that did not stir well before filling may cause blockage too.

What are the warranties?2019-10-07T18:07:01+02:00

2 years.

What are the “wear and tear” parts?2019-10-07T18:07:16+02:00

There are virtually no “Wear and tear” parts as the disk on the caps is the piston head that is changed with each use.

How to use the machine and what are the processes of filling?2019-10-07T18:07:29+02:00

Does the machine need service and maintenance?2019-10-07T18:11:15+02:00

No need actually. But user needs to keep the machine clean inside, try not to allow paints stick to the pneumatic/air piston.

Do we sell spare parts?2019-10-07T18:11:38+02:00

All parts are available. Some as sub assemblies. See After sales service.

Do we need to screw the machine on top of a table or a flat surface?2019-10-07T18:11:53+02:00

There are two holes for you to screw the machine on a table or work surface. The Fill-One can be used with a portable support plate or wall bracket to free counter space.

Do we need to lubricate the machine?2019-10-07T18:12:11+02:00

No. You don’t need to lubricate the machine. There is no need for a lubricator on the air line either.

Do we need to dilute the paints before filling?2019-10-07T18:12:23+02:00

No, just fill the paint as it is without thinner or reducer.

Do we mix the paint in the filling cup?2019-10-07T18:12:35+02:00

It is best and recommended to mix the paint before filling into the filling cap as non mixed pigments can stick onto the sides of the cap (this may change the final colour results).

Can we use our own thinners and mixed with our paint?2019-10-07T18:12:46+02:00

No, The thinners are already contained in the aerosol. Not all thinners are compatible with aerosol use. Therefore the proper thinners for aerosol use are already contained within the aerosol.

I bought a Jetclean system but it only includes one waste collector. How do I manage waste between waterborne and solvent coatings?2019-10-07T18:15:19+02:00

Paint manufacturers recommend to not mix water-based and solvent-based waste in the same collector jug due to the risks of hydrogen gases explosion. To avoid this risk, you can use a 2nd waste collector or install a 2nd Jetclean machine to have 1 machine dedicated to waterborne and 1 machine dedicated to solvent. Please contact you sales representative for information and pricing.
